KEIVAN TABAN

Delight of Sight (Keivan Taban photography) was born out of an ever-lasting passion for imagery appreciation and an unending love of painting, landscapes, light, and human and non-human expressive emotions.

Freezing a moment, a scene, I try to convince my audience to pause and reflect; to distance themselves from the rush and hastiness of our "modern lives", and appreciate the fleeting overlooked moments of life. As a photographer, I paint with camera and light, like a painter who paints with brush and paint. Then again, in post-processing, I paint what my camera captured to force upon it a look, a viewpoint, or a vision; to at least let others know what the mood was when I photographed or where I stand with respect to the created art work.

Finally, the importance and sufficiency of light itself shifted my attention towards Black & White photography, which has proven to be so artistically appealing that I unconsciously render many of my shots (not all of them) black and white. I hope this take on photography will be appealing to my audience as well.
